Summer Open Burger with Black Truffle and Thyme Patties
Summer is here in Aotearoa and it is a perfect time to have a fresh open burger with our earthy umami Black Truffle and Thyme Plant Patties on fresh and juicy fancy lettuce or gluten-free burger buns of your choice!

Ingredients
1 Onion
4 Button mushrooms
1 Zucchini
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Garlic granules
½ Raw Beetroot, grated
½ Fresh Tomato
2 Amino Mantra Black Truffle & Thyme patties
Fancy Lettuce (or Burger Buns - optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
Sauce
3 Tbsp Ceres Organics Ketchup
1 Tbsp mustard
Method
- Chop onion, mushrooms & zucchini. Sauté onion with salt & pepper until soft. Set aside. Fry mushrooms & zucchini with oregano & garlic granules for 2-3 mins until soft. Set aside. Cook Amino Mantra patties for 3-4 minutes.
- On plate place fancy lettuce, sliced tomato, grated beetroot, sauteed mushroom & zucchini mix, and sauteed onion. And add any other favourite ingredients to your burger! Or sandwich them between 2 burger buns.
- Mix the ketchup & mustard together for a yummy lightly spiced but sweet sauce. Or add a sauce of your choice.
